AeroBalsa 1.5 inch blades cut to 15 inches. 4" of 1/16" solder in the leading edge at the tip. Slightly rounded leading edge. 1/32 ply blade roots. No CF in the blades, totally not necessary, in fact detrimental contrary to popular belief. (Aside: I've had many crashes in development, never with CF
in the blades, I think I've broken one only once in 3 months and that was from a rotor stoppage inverted at about 200 feet straight down to concrete.)
monokote trim sheet covering done helicopter style, overlapped on the bottom trailing edge.
GWS dragonfly head parts, with 20 guage blade straps, 3mm bolts with plastic stop nuts. About 5 degrees of negative pitch.
ROG from smooth surface including a dirt road.
Hand launches are uneventful. I get 8-10 minutes flying time depending on what I'm doing. Does nice dead stick landings down to a little plop on the main gear.
